Finding My Father-The Beginning

I’ve mentioned before that I’ve grown up without a father. I never even knew much about him. To be honest, I never was very curious. I never felt like I was missing out on much. I thought I was just fine without him. I was never really bitter, either. Just moving along with my life, and I never gave it a second thought until somebody asked me about it. Meeting him was never on my list of things to do. Then I had a few things happen that made me reconsider my thoughts…

NBA Playoffs- Round 2

The Semifinal Round of the NBA playoffs is underway, and if the Game 1′s of this round are any indication, we are in for some excellent basketball. We saw the Thunder barely holding off the Grizzlies, the Knicks being upset by the Pacers, Da Bulls shocking everyone in Miami, and a double overtime thriller with the Spurs over the Warriors.

NBA Playoffs 2013

I’ve often said that basketball is my favorite sport. Specifically, I really enjoy watching NBA basketball. I’ll watch any basketball, but I enjoy the NBA because of the polished, elite level of play. If this is so, then why haven’t I written a post about the NBA postseason? I truly cannot answer that. The Past Two Months-The Wedding Part

As such, I have slightly abandoned writing. I have missed writing, but it was also a nice break. I enjoyed soaking up life. Being able to focus on the family and friends that were around to support Autumn and I while we made a huge, amazing change in our lives.

Thoughts on Pope Francis

Yesterday, the Vatican elected a new pope. He hails from Argentina, the first pope from Latin America, and his real name is Jorge Bergoglio. I’ll admit that I don’t know much about the role of the pope nor of the catholic church in general. But I do know that this is a big deal for hundreds of millions of people around the world. So, I did some research.

2013 Is Crazy/Bachelor Party

This year is really starting out strong. Planning a wedding is a lot of work, and I’m hardly even doing anything. I don’t know how Autumn is handling all of this. This week started with me coming back from my snowboard trip with the guys, being sore and tired, and ends with moving Autumn into our new marriage apartment. Exciting times, to be sure, but it doesn’t leave a lot of room for writing.
