Today is quite the significant day. August 14. For one, it is Our Holy QB, Tim Tebow’s birthday. I know opinions of him are becoming less and less positive/relevant, but I still like him. Secondly, it is my two-year birthday of starting this blog! I can’t believe all the twists and turns that I’ve been through since beginning this journey as a writer, but I’m so glad I started.

The NBA Finals tip-off tonight in Miami, and I know you’re thinking that Coach Pop has this series all figured out, and has a legitimate game plan for beating the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. A Spurs-Biased Finals Breakdown

Before I was able to write a Conference Finals post, the West was won. I can’t believe my mighty San Antonio Spurs swept the Grizzlies. I was sure that the series was going to go 7 games, and I wasn’t sure we could beat them. The Spurs played with intensity and ran their system with precision. The old-school defense that they used to be known for showed up again. It was a great series, and although I kind of miss watching them, I’m glad they’re able to get some rest.

NBA Playoffs- Round 2

The Semifinal Round of the NBA playoffs is underway, and if the Game 1’s of this round are any indication, we are in for some excellent basketball. We saw the Thunder barely holding off the Grizzlies, the Knicks being upset by the Pacers, Da Bulls shocking everyone in Miami, and a double overtime thriller with the Spurs over the Warriors.

NBA Playoffs 2013

I’ve often said that basketball is my favorite sport. Specifically, I really enjoy watching NBA basketball. I’ll watch any basketball, but I enjoy the NBA because of the polished, elite level of play. If this is so, then why haven’t I written a post about the NBA postseason? I truly cannot answer that. I realize that a few series are 2 games in already, but I’m choosing to overlook that.
